Tasting Notes

An intense, persistent, and elegant wine made from late ripening grapes, typically harvested in November. Suitable for long aging in the bottle. Huge, velvety tannins that polymerizes over time and have a high acidity that balances the tanic component. Fruity with a mineral persistence. A lively, full bodied red. Taurasi is the big daddy of Aglianico.
